Privacy Settings

Ausgangspunkt der Werke von Aneta Grzeszykowska ist die Konstruktion, Wandelbarkeit und Fraglichkeit der eigenen ‚Identität‘. Sie spielt mit An- und Abwesenheit, Fragmentierung, Oberflächlichkeit, dem äußeren Abbild von sich selbst und der inneren Wahrnehmung des eigenen Selbst, das sich beständig wandelt.

Privacy Settings ist erste Einzelausstellung der polnischen Künstlerin Aneta Grzeszykowska in Berlin. Die Ausstellung ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Art Collection Telekom, der Kunstsammlung der Deutschen Telekom, die seit 15 Jahren eine Sammlung von Kunst aus Zentral-, Ost- und Südosteuropa aufbaut.

nDie polnische Künstlerin Aneta Grzeszykowska verbindet die Tradition osteuropäischer Körperkunst mit westlich-feministischer Fototradition. Grzeszykowska verwendet eigene und vorgefundene Fotos, dreht Filme, baut Skulpturen und Reliefs, führt Performance auf. Im Kunstverein Ost zeigt sie einen Überblick über 25 Jahre Schaffen, der unter der Frage nach Privatsphäre steht.
